About Carlette
As a Strategic Performance Advisor, Carlette specializes in supporting athletic departments to strengthen the leadership, culture, and performance systems that convert talent into championships. Drawing on more than 30 years of experience in professional and collegiate sports, she works with athletic directors and senior leaders to build the internal architecture that supports sustained competitive success.

Carlette’s career spans leadership roles and advisory work across the NFL, NBA Developmental League, collegiate athletics, and international high-performance sport environments in the United States, New Zealand, and Australia. Her work focuses on aligning performance strategy, leadership development, athlete wellbeing, and organizational change to help athletic departments operate at the highest level.

Carlette is the founder of Patterson Sports Ventures (PSV), a strategic coaching and training firm she has led for more than 27 years. Through PSV, she developed the Three-Dimensional Performance Model (3D), a framework designed to help individuals and organizations achieve high-performance results by aligning personal wellbeing, professional leadership, and philanthropic impact.

Her advisory work integrates research-based performance principles with the language and methodologies of sport, drawing on best practices from elite athletics, leadership development, and performance psychology. Through this work, Carlette helps athletic departments build cultures of competitive greatness, high-performance wellbeing, and purpose-driven leadership.
